With a personal healing story of her own, Angie believes that it takes a well-rounded, holistic approach to heal at one’s highest potential. After being diagnosed with cancer and autoimmune disease in her 20s, Angie has worked endlessly to heal, seek truth, and empower her authentic self.
Through her own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing journey, Angie discovered her purpose – to inspire others to heal through holistic wellness, creativity, and compassionate living. Her contribution to healing began as a massage therapist and yoga teacher and extended into nourishment of the mind and heart through community gathering. She wishes to someday combine her love of travel by teaching healing arts workshops and retreats all around the world.
Angie believes that everybody and every body can heal through holistic wellness. She is certified in Prenatal & Postpartum Massage, has received intensive Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Bodywork training in Kauai, Hawaii, and has advanced training in Traditional Thai Yoga Massage & Bodywork.
Before her career in the healing arts, Angie received a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications and journalism. While in college she studied abroad in Scotland and had the unique experience of living and learning in historic Dalkeith Palace near Edinburgh.
In addition to travel, she enjoys a variety of arts and crafts including photography, writing, music, cooking, and gardening. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband Andy and beloved dog Wally.
