The Power of Intention: 4 Questions to Ask Yourself

I have been leading events, workshops, circles and retreats for over 8 years now and I have been known to create magical spaces with transformational experiences. I’ve taken two groups down to Peru, hosted launch events from London to Mumbai, and have facilitated dozens of circles in my living room. I’ve grown an international organization and help hundreds of women on their journey as sacred transformational facilitators.

My secret sauce to doing all that I do is INTENTION.

I set an intention before I do anything because this is what puts everything into motion, it’s the north star, the compass.

When you set your intention and then let go of the way in which you fulfill on that intention, you are guaranteed to create magical experiences in everything that you do.

To help you create a powerful intention, I wanted to share my step by step process so you can use it for yourself, too.

Leading circle is 90% energetics, 10% structure. Who you are BEING as a leader, embodying the words that come out of your mouth, is the most important thing. Congruency in your thoughts, words and actions is key.

So to make sure you have direction and align your BEING with your DOING, you need to set an intention.

Here’s what I do

I ask myself a series of questions and I will show you an example so you can see exactly what I mean.

Day 1 of my 3-day live event, Feminine Uprising Live.

Intention for the day in a short sentence or phrase:

Activate your feminine wisdom, power and presence.

What do I want to leave women with/have them experience?

Feeling connected to their sense of power and feeling connected to one another. They have insights and awareness coming from their inner wisdom. They are present to what gets in the way and bust through it.

How will I know this is happening?

Engagement, active participation, speaking up, tears.

What do I need to embody to have this happen?

Grace and ease as the queen, presence as the high priestess, unconditional love as the (pregnant) mother.

What do I personally want to receive from this experience?

Connection, confirmation, empowerment, more energy.

Now if I have an agenda, I go through it and make sure it is aligned with my intention. I make any adjustments. I then give myself permission to go off agenda if needed.

Can you see how this works?
