In tribes and villages around the world women have come together in circles to share, to listen, to remember. For tens of thousands of years the wisdom has flown through time, whispering to us the song of connection and sisterhood. If we listen deeply to ourselves and to each other we can hear it. We are now shedding the old faded clothes of competition, jealousy and repression, and stepping forward to invite back our authentic, powerful and wonderfully unique selves. We are rising like the sun, shining big and bright as the full moon, saying yes to the power of fierce love, compassion, authenticity and vulnerability. In circle we act as mirrors to each other and help each other remember who we truly are and to feel our deep connection to Mother Earth. Breathe in as you draw in the strength and wisdom of the women through all ages and cultures. Breath out as you release the old ways of being to make space for your true self to fully emerge. You are whole. You are valued. You are loved. Welcome here, sister. Berit J. Estabrook (Inspired by Warrior Goddess Training by HeatherAsh Amara)
My deepest passion is to remind myself and others about how deeply we are connected to this beautiful Earth, to each other and to Spirit. We are all One and it’s so easy to forget it! In this world of polarization, separation and materialism we all need more connection, and to come together in circles is an ancient way to remember how we all are a part of the precious web of live. I believe that when we remember that, we can heal the planet.
Sitting with other women in circle offers an experience of genuine sisterhood. And when we share vulnerability, find out who we are beyond our roles and patterns, support each others growth and empowerment, we will heal and rise.
I’m trained as a Yoga teacher, Stress counselor, Jin Shin Jyutsu practicioner and Voice Dialogue facilitator. I created School For Spiritual Ecology in Stockholm, Sweden, and together with two dear friends there, I started and managed Gaia Center, a place for spiritual exploration and personal growth.
I have studied Shamanism with among others Sandra Ingerman and presently with Serena School of Inca Shamanism. For over twenty years I have sat in circles with Manitonquat/Medicine Story and Ellika Lindén. And I have sat in women’s circles with amazing women from many corners of the world.
I’m a mother, wife and I work as a painter.
