“So much of what happens in relationships between women, and in the sister wounding, is that we withhold out of fear of upsetting somebody else. We’re people pleasers. We’re afraid to rock the boat. We’re afraid to upset the other person. So we withhold, but in that withholding, ultimately we end up with resentment and passive aggressiveness. Ina and I, do not ever want to be in that place with one another. And so one thing that’s been so beautiful about our relationship is to recognize this here, this thing, could end up being a resentment if it’s not put on the table now.
